Now I just get phone-calls asking me for help with English. Not really. I do get to tag along on play dates, and this Saturday my daughter's the only kid! Could romance be far behind?
Just an update regarding Saturday. A typhoon came along so we didn't get to the beach and it turns out my daughter is a few months too young for the children's museum in Kyongju (go figure!) but we did manage to have a great visit in spite of it all. I got to check out some great documentary photography from the sixties and seventies at the Sonje Museum of Contemporary Art and we visited Herbland in the afternoon, which has nothing to do with WKRP. We walked across a converted railway bridge in the rain and threw stones into the muddy floodwaters before going for dinner at a cozy barbecue restaurant, where I had grilled baby octopus for what seemed like the first time. Mi-son is a great driver by the way, and she didn't even get put off by the puddle water splashing up to obscure the windshield as we drove through the mountains. I think I'm in love.
